The Milton Menace completed another trade on Friday, November 18th.
After sending goaltender Christian Trianni and forward Ryan O’Toole to the St. Michael’s Majors in exchange for forward Jared Coccimiglio, the Menace then shipped off forward Luca Rea to the Haliburton County Huskies. The Menace received financial compensation for player development.
The Menace acquired Rea from the North York Rangers this past offseason when they traded away defenceman Alessandro Petreccia and centre John Mitchell. Touted for his offensive skill, Rea scored just three times for the Menace in 20 games, adding 12 assists.
The Menace are 16-5-1-2 through 24 games this OJHL season after losing 3-2 to the Collingwood Blues. That puts them in third place in the North/West Conference. Their next game is on Tuesday, November 22nd when they head south to play the Oakville Blades at the Sixteen Mile Sports Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
The next game in Milton is on Friday, November 25th. The Menace will take on the Aurora Tigers. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. Milton Menace home tickets for this OJHL season can be found here.
