
The Halton Region has shifted to COVID-19 updates once a week.
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show three additional deaths in the totals. Two of the deaths were Burlington residents, giving the city 164 deaths total. The other death was an Oakville resident, putting the town at 124 deaths total. Halton Hills remains at 71 deaths total. Milton remains at 72 deaths. Halton is now at 431 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 255 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 55,645. There have been 1,552 total hospitalizations in Halton and 431 deaths.
In Milton, we had 69 new cases. That brings us to 14,541 total cases. There have been 352 total hospitalizations in Milton and 72 deaths.
There are currently three outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Congregate Living – 164
- Allendale Long Term Care Home – Adams House
- Martindale Gardens Retirement Home – First, Second, Third, Fourth Floor
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,470,443 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,311,527 of the doses were to Halton residents.
Here’s a breakdown on ages of those receiving doses:
- 4,429 total doses have been administered to people aged <5;
- 73,213 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
- 108,766 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
- 112,046 total doses have been administered to people aged 18-24;
- 72,058 total doses have been administered to people aged 25-29;
- 85,054 total doses have been administered to people aged 30-34;
- 99,894 total doses have been administered to people aged 35-39;
- 107,751 total doses have been administered to people aged 40-44;
- 113,876 total doses have been administered to people aged 45-49;
- 116,448 total doses have been administered to people aged 50-54;
- 113,839 total doses have been administered to people aged 55-59;
- 106,084 total doses have been administered to people aged 60-64;
- 94,837 total doses have been administered to people aged 65-69;

- 439,706 total doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 36,049 total doses have been administered through other clinic settings;
- 994,688 total doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
