It’s going to be a bit noisy for residents living near Base Borden.
Beginning Friday (oct28) and running through to December 6, members of the Forces Logistics Training Centre Ammunition Technician course will be conducting controlled
detonations.
Approximately 15 blasts will take place daily between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm.
Ammunition Technicians assist in the safe disposal of any misfired, dud or obsolete ammunition.
Safety standards will be in place to ensure the public is never in any danger.
