The municipal election brought about some changes in New Tecumseth.
Mayor Rick Milne did not run in the race to be re-elected as Mayor, that position went to former Deputy Mayor Richard Norcross.
Milne says he had a good run and is ready for some time off.

Milne says he has had several job offers, if he decides he wants to work into his retirement.
More importantly he says he wants to take time for his family and maybe do a little travelling with his wife.
New Council members are set to take over November 15.
