Residents in the Innisfil, Bradford West Gwillimbury area who require fire and rescue assistance might be met by fire crews from some of the surrounding areas.
The funeral of South Simcoe Police Constables Devon Northrup and Morgan Russell will be attended by members of the Innisfil/Bradford West Gwillimbury Fire and Rescue
tomorrow (oct20).
To ensure no disruption to public safety, fire and rescue coverage will be provided by Fire Departments from New Tecumseth, Barrie, Essa, Springwater and Wasaga Beach
between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Firefighters and trucks from each of these fire departments will be onsite in South Simcoe to ensure a timely response in the case of an emergency.
There is no change to how residents will request emergency assistance.
