Seventeen Provincial Constables have joined the Ontario Provincial Police in the Central Region, including the Nottawasaga Detachment.
The officers graduated on October 6 following the completion of training at the Ontario Police College.
498 new officers have been deployed across the province.
4 have been stationed with the Nottawasaga OPP.
The OPP currently has more than 5,500 uniformed officers, 2,500 civilian employees and 600 auxiliary members.
