Grandmother’s Voice is welcoming residents to walk for National Day for Truth and Reconciliation next week.
The foundation is hosting a Walk to Remember the Children on Friday, September 30th in Milton.
Attendees will meet at the entrance of Country Heritage Park (8560 Tremaine Rd, Milton), and then walk to the back field in front of the barn together and gather in prayer and love.
You can join a Walk to Remember the Children during these times:
- The first walk is from 12:00pm – 1:30pm
- The second walk will happen from 4:00pm – 5:30pm
A 20-foot banner will be displayed that says “Bring our Children Home.” It will be displayed along the 401 HWY at Tremaine Rd., along the escarpment.
A tractor and trailer will be available for those who require support.
