We are five weeks away from Milton’s municipal election.
Residents will head to polling stations all across town to cast their ballots, electing School Board Trustees, Town and Regional Councillors, and Mayor.
FM 101 Milton has reached out to all candidates for Council with hopes of learning more about all of their campaigns.
An interesting thing to consider with this election is that Milton’s Ward 3 is guaranteed to get a new Town Councillor. This comes after incumbent Ward 3 Town Councillor Rick Di Lorenzo made the decision to run for Regional Councillor for Ward 3 in this election.
Patrick Murphy put his name on the ballot sheet for this position. He spoke with us this week about his platform and a handful of topics affecting Milton, including:
- Growth
- Transit
- Traffic
- Construction
- Environmental concerns
