Police have identified the victim in a Bradford homicide investigation.
On Sunday (sept4) South Simcoe Police located a man in distress on Holland Street West in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
The male suffered a fatal injury and was subsequently pronounced deceased at the scene.
Investigators are not releasing the victims name pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation has determined that the victim suffered a fatal injury after coming to the aid of a young female involved in an violent altercation with the accused.
A 20 year old Bradford resident surrendered himself to police being held on charges of second-degree murder, assault with a weapon, assault cause bodily harm, uttering
threats, and failure to comply with a judicial release order.
