Prime Minister Justin Trudeau paid a visit to Milton.
On Friday, September 2nd, the PM stopped by Conservation Halton’s Area 8 at 5437 Steeles Avenue West in Milton. Alongside Milton Member of Parliament (MP) Adam van Koeverden, Prime Minister Trudeau planted a pair of trees near the quarry waterfront. According to staff with Conservation Halton, one of the trees was a poplar, the other was an eastern white cedar.
The two were accompanied by local youth, as well as volunteers and climate change activists. After the tree plantings, the pair then went around the area to speak with attendees. Among them were The Fundraiser Warriors: Ethan and Edward Bill and their mom Stacey.
