First time students heading to school on the bus this fall, take a practice run before the big day arrives.
The Simcoe County Student Transportation Consortium offers a First Rider Program for first-time riders.
The safety program is provided in partnership with the school bus operators to help young riders and their parents learn the rules and responsibilities on and around the school
bus.
Sessions are taking place at area schools, registration is not required.
Parents and new students can attend any of the sessions.
