The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show an additional death in the totals. The death appears to be a Burlington resident, giving the city 144 deaths total. Milton remains at 70 deaths total. Oakville is at 109 deaths total. Halton Hills remains at 68 deaths total. Halton is now at 391 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 179 new cases since Friday. The total number of cases is up to 52,581. There have been 1,385 total hospitalizations in Halton and 391 deaths.
In Milton, we had 41 new cases since Friday. That brings us to 13,874 total cases. There have been 322 total hospitalizations in Milton and 70 deaths.
There are currently two outbreaks reported in Milton:
- Allendale Long Term Care Home – Adam’s House
- Birkdale Place – Retirement Home
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,377,133 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,226,158 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 67,793 total doses have been administered to people aged 5-11;
- 106,253 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
- 109,155 total doses have been administered to people aged 18-24;
- 70,153 total doses have been administered to people aged 25-29;
