A Milton resident is getting closer to receiving the money she won playing LOTTO 6/49.
Back in March, Nadine Martin won $100,000 through ENCORE. An issue came up when it was discovered that Martin’s daughter works for an authorized OLG retailer. That meant that her claim falls within OLG’s definition of an ‘Insider Win’. Claims of $10,000 or more made by Insiders require enhanced review and validation as well as a 30-day publication period prior to payment to ensure there are no additional claims on the winning ticket.
However, OLG has reported that, pending no additional claims, Martin will receive her money on August 24th.
The ticket was purchased at Rexall on Thomas Street in Mississauga.
