New Tecumseth residents who require assistance getting in and out of a swimming pool can get it at the Rotary Pool at Riverdale Park.
Members of the Accessibility Committee purchased an aquatic wheelchair to make pool use accessible to more people.
Ward 5 Councillor Donna Jebb says the committee is always looking for ways to make the municipality more inclusive.

Jebb says the chair came at a cost of $2000 and is made of light weight materials that will make getting in and out of the pool much easier.
Right now, the chair is available on a first come, first served basis but if demand increases it could lead to a sign-out system.
