
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show an additional death in the totals. The death appears to be a Halton Hills resident, giving the town 67 deaths total. Milton remains at 65 deaths total. Oakville is at 101 deaths total. Burlington is at 127 deaths total. Halton is now at 360 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 70 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 48,559. There have been 1,246 total hospitalizations in Halton and 360 deaths.
In Milton, we had 13 new cases. That brings us to 13,064 total cases. There have been 296 total hospitalizations in Milton and 65 deaths.
There are two outbreaks in Milton:
- Congregate living facility known as ‘Congregate Living – 139’
- Milton District Hospital – 2 North Regional Unit
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,314,995 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,169,782 of the doses were to Halton residents.
