
The latest COVID-19 stats from the Halton Region show two additional deaths in the totals. They appear to have been a Burlington residents, giving the city 125 deaths total. Milton remains at 64 deaths total. Halton Hills is at 66. Oakville is at 97. Halton is now at 352 deaths total from COVID-19.
Across Halton, there are 166 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 47,413. There have been 1,207 total hospitalizations in Halton and 352 deaths.
In Milton, we had 31 new cases. That brings us to 12,828 total cases. There have been 290 total hospitalizations in Milton and 64 deaths.
There are two outbreaks in Milton:
- Congregate living facility known as ‘Congregate Living – 132’
- Milton District Hospital – 2 North Regional Unit
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,299,572 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 1,155,430 of the doses were to Halton residents.

- 103,344 total doses have been administered to people aged 12-17;
