The Downtown Milton Business Improvement Area (DMBIA) has announced a major summer event!
The Downtown Milton SummerFest will be happening this June. The DMBIA says this announcement is in response to the COVID-19 pandemic impacting its regular Downtown Milton Street Festival event. To coincide with the pandemic, the organization will be forgoing the large scale annual event for two smaller events: Downtown Milton SummerFest in June and Downtown Milton HolidayFest in November.
“These community-based events will showcase local businesses and performers and feature fun, family-centered activities that everyone can enjoy,” the DMBIA says in a release. “They aim to bring residents and visitors to Downtown Milton, celebrate the broader Milton community and support the local economy. Public health and safety measures will be in place.”
The Downtown Milton SummerFest will be held on Main Street East on Saturday, June 18th from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Road closure details will be available soon.
Applications are now open for vendors and entertainers for SummerFest. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
