
The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 691 new cases today. The total number of cases is up to 31,686. With 27,190 resolved cases and 246 deaths, Halton is at 4250 active cases, 149 more than Wednesday. The Region says that of the 31,686 total cases, 30,906 were confirmed positive while 780 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have 150 new cases. That brings us to 9011 total cases. With 7845 resolved cases and 48 deaths, Milton is at 991 active cases, 23 more than Wednesday’s update. The Region says that of the 9011 total cases, 8743 were confirmed positive while 268 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 11,699 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 3391 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 110 cases being reported – 42 are non-Halton cases, 64 are residents, two are staff cases, and two unspecified. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,085,090 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 965,713 of the doses were to Halton residents.
464,539 second doses have been administered in Halton. 412,837 of those have been Halton residents.
146,343 additional doses have been administered in Halton. 126,133 of those have been Halton residents.

- 13,927 first doses, 10,172 second doses and 7031 additional doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 373,042 first doses, 342,283 second doses and 59,449 additional doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
