The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 2349 new cases coming out of the long weekend. The total number of cases is up to 30,366. With 26,373 resolved cases and 246 deaths, Halton is at 3747 active cases, 56 more than Friday. The Region says that of the 30,366 total cases, 29,593 were confirmed positive while 773 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have 592 new cases. That brings us to 8727 total cases. With 7766 resolved cases and 48 deaths, Milton is at 913 active cases, 148 more than Friday’s update. The Region says that of the 8727 total cases, 8462 were confirmed positive while 265 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 11,423 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 3318 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 104 cases being reported – 38 are non-Halton cases, 63 are residents, two are staff cases, and one unspecified. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,068,053 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 951,120 of the doses were to Halton residents.
464,190 second doses have been administered in Halton. 412,660 of those have been Halton residents.
129,977 additional doses have been administered in Halton. 111,822 of those have been Halton residents.

The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 87,018 first doses, 111,828 second doses and 72,289 additional doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,919 first doses, 10,165 second doses and 7022 additional doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 372,949 first doses, 342,197 second doses and 50,666 additional doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
