It was a pretty dominant win for the Milton Menace on Thursday night.
Heading to the Stouffville Arena, the Menace held the Spirit scoreless. Lucas Buzziol got the Menace on the board with his goal 14 minutes into the first period. It was assisted by Nicholas Wereha.
Menace player Ben Hofstetter then made it a two goal game with his goal in the second period. John Mitchell and Bradley Banach were given the assists on the goal.
The third period was where Milton put the game away. Recently acquired James Barbour scored early in the period, assisted by Alessandro Petreccia and Justin Randhawa. Ethan Sims then made it a four goal game. His goal was assisted by Matthew Vavaroutsos. The Menace won 4-0.
Ryan Dugas had a relatively light night, with just 22 saves for the shutout.
Milton is now 14-8-0-3 on the season, sitting third in the OJHL’s West Division. The Menace are ninth in the league with 31 points in 25 games.
Their next game is Friday night. They head to Burlington to take on the Cougars. Gametime is scheduled for 7:30 p.m..
