Officers from the Caledon and Nottawasaga Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to two separate robberies in Caledon and Beeton that are believed to be linked.
On Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at approximately 6:30 a.m., two suspects entered a gas station located on Airport Road near Old Church Road in the Town of Caledon. The suspects were brandishing weapons and demanded cash and cigarettes.
On the same day, at approximately 7:00 a.m. the same two suspects entered a convenience store on Main Street in the Town of Beeton. Again the suspects were brandishing weapons and demanded cash.
Suspect 1 is described as:
- Light skin colour
- Average build
- Believed to be male
- Grey/White “trucker style” baseball cap with sticker/log on brim
- Camouflaged face covering with florescent orange around neck
- Black/dark gloves
Suspect 2 is described as:
- Light skin colour
- Thin build
- Believed to be male
- Black hoodie with white Philadelphia Eagles (NFL) logo on chest
- Face covering
- White toque
The suspects fled both locations in a grey Honda CRV with an Ontario license plate of BXRK050. This vehicle was reported stolen to Peel Regional Police on November 9, 2021.
Police are releasing several surveillance photos from each robbery and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.
