A Staff Sergeant with the Halton Police, Stephanie Jamieson has managed to flourish in a male dominated position.
She knew immediately at a young age that she wanted to help people while not working a standard 9-5 kind of job. Variety on a day-to-day basis really attracted Jamieson to the position as she graduated university with degrees in Physical Education.
It comes with challenges and rewards, and Jamieson says that she’s grateful for her work because it allows her to go home at the end of the day and know that she has helped someone in the community.
