UPDATE:
The Halton Regional Police Service has released more information on the arrest in last week’s shooting.
26 year-old Dakari Daniel of Milton was arrested on Friday, June 11th at a residence in Milton. He is facing:
- Discharge Firearm;
- Disguise with Intent;
- Robbery with a Firearm;
- Point Firearm;
- Discharge Firearm with Intent;
- Unauthorized Possession in a Motor Vehicle;
- Possession Contrary to Order; and,
- Careless Storage of Ammunition.
Daniel was held in custody pending a bail hearing in Milton.
Police are also once again asking anyone who was in the area of Derry Road and Bronte Street South, in Milton, on June 10, between 6:40 pm and 7:10 pm that may have dash cam or CCTV footage to reach out to investigators.

The Halton Police, 1 District Criminal Investigations Unit, has arrested a male party responsible for the June 10, 2021 shooting at Pizza Nova, located at 6921 Derry Road in Milton.
On Friday, June 11, 2021 at approximately 10:30 am, the accused was arrested without incident at a Milton residence.
As a result of the investigation, the firearm believed to be used in the shooting has been recovered and seized by investigators.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing. The name of the accused and list of charges will be released once he has appeared before the courts.
