Two people are dead following a house fire in Georgetown.
Emergency services arrived on scene at the house on Hidden Lake Trail at roughly 5:35 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Reports say the house was completely engulfed in flames. Two bodies were found inside the home, both have been confirmed dead. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been contacted to assist with the investigation.
The fire has since been extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation and has yet to be determined. Hidden Lake Trail near the Gellert Community Centre remains closed for the investigation.
