The Townsend Smith Foundation has a winner for its weekly Catch the Ace contest.
Sherry Stevenson won $241 when she pulled the ace of clubs.
The Director of Development for the Foundation, Kate Holmes, says Stevenson is looking to use the money for more tickets.
The Jackpot is now nearing $3000. Holmes says it’s exciting to see the jackpot climb because it means more money for the Foundation, and more money for the eventual winner who pulls the elusive ace of spades.
This is the second go-around for the Townsend Smith Foundation and the weekly 50/50 draw. Some of the previous winners this year have been:

All proceeds raised by the Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation are going towards their ultimate goal of bringing a hospice to North Halton. It is their mission to provide close-to-home palliative care to residents.
