The Halton Police is saying that a potential tragedy was prevented on Friday when officers stopped a G2 driver who was going 182 km/h in a 70-zone.
On top of the speeding, the HRPS says that cannabis was readily available to the driver in the vehicle. Speed and drugs are a dangerous combination.
The vehicle is impounded and the young driver is expecting a court date.
