The Halton Police has charged four people with impaired driving.
The cases all happened over the weekend. Three of the cases involved Milton.
On January 29, 2021, just after 1:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Chisholm Drive and Martin Street in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 45-year-old Toronto resident was charged with blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On January 31, 2021, just after 2:00 am, Halton Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of Trafalgar Road and Lower Base Line in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 33-year-old Brampton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On January 31, 2021, just before 6:30 pm, Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Regional Road 25 and Louis St. Laurent Avenue in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 28-year-old Welland resident was charged with operation while impaired.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
