The Townsend Smith Hospice Foundation’s Catch the Ace event has another weekly winner.
Carmen Alexander-Nash won $384 on Friday.
The Director of Development for Townsend Smith, Kate Holmes, says Alexander-Nash won with a group.
She pulled the ten of spades, just missing out on that elusive ace of spades. Holmes says that Alexander-Nash will be using some of her earnings to buy more tickets, a common trend in the early weeks of the event. The event is a continuous weekly 50/50 raffle, with proceeds going towards building a hospice in North Halton. Holmes is happy to see people continuing to raise money for the Foundation, while also having fun.
The previous winner was Walt Anderson. He won $414. You can read more on him here.
The next draw is on Friday with the person who pulls the ace of spades winning a guaranteed $2500 jackpot, thanks to an anonymous donor.
