The Halton Police says it stopped seven people for impaired driving last week.
Two of the cases involved Milton.
On December 8th, just before 11:00 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Barr Crescent and Luxton Drive in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 45-year old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
On December 10th, just before 11:30 p.m., Halton Police officers responded to a citizen-initiated complaint in the area of Main Street and Savoline Boulevard in Milton. As a result of an investigation, a 37-year old Milton resident was charged with operation while impaired and blood alcohol concentration 80mgs or more, within two hours.
Remember, driving under the influence is considered a crime in progress. Call 9-1-1 immediately if you suspect that someone on the road is driving impaired.
