COVID-19: Halton up to 38 deaths

The Halton Region is reporting another 57 new COVID-19 cases today.

The total number is up to 2468 cases. There have been 2097 and 38 deaths. That means two more residents have died. They appear to have been Halton Hills residents. One was a resident at Amica Georgetown Retirement Home, bringing its death total to two since its outbreak began on October 19th.

Halton Hills now has 13 deaths from COVID-19, the second most among Halton municipalities behind Burlington (15). Oakville has six.

In Milton, we have 14 new cases being reported. The total is 596 cases. We have 502 resolved cases and four deaths. That means Milton is up to 90 active cases.
