Two more people are dead from COVID-19.
The latest COVID-19 numbers are in for the Halton Region.
Across Halton, there were 23 new cases. That raises the total to 2055 cases. There have been 1796 resolved cases and 33 deaths. That is two more deaths reported today. One was a Burlington resident (the City’s 13th reported death, the highest in Halton), and the other was an Oakville resident (the Town’s 5th reported death). Halton has 226 active cases, 21 less than yesterday’s total.
In Milton, we have four more cases. The total is now 473 cases. There have been 435 recoveries and four deaths. That puts Milton at 34 active cases, nine less than yesterday’s reported numbers.
As a note, Milton now has the lowest reported death total among the four municipalities in Halton. Halton Hills has the second most with 11.
