Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz and the other Halton Mayors have sent a letter to the Province of Ontario asking them not to put Halton back into stage two.
In the letter, they have asked the Province to take a targeted approach instead of ordering a full closure of the Region.
Also within the letter, they wrote that local businesses have been following public health guidelines and should not be punished under a blanket ruling, stating that Halton residents are reasonable and would welcome any additional information as well.
