Milton Town Council is trying to update the Mature Neighbourhood Study.
Council approved a motion that introduces new standards that apply to the low-density residential neighborhoods within the Downtown Character Area.
Town Councillor for Ward 1, Kristina Tesser Derksen says that there were some concerns with the recommendations.
She adds that if they are going to stop development they better come up with a strong foundation for doing so.
Also, she adds that defining mature neighborhoods will benefit the future as well.
