Canadian athletes will have to wait a year before they can realize there Olympic dream.
Miltonian Michael Foley is one of those athletes. He was scheduled to compete for Cycling Canada during Tokyo 2020.
However, he wasn’t shocked at the decision that was being made.
Although with the year delay, Foley says that his training has changed.
This year was a tough one for Foley, who suffered through a couple of injuries before the World Cup.
Now, with the added time he can do a more thorough rehab.
When it comes to staying connected with teammates, Foley says they are only a phone call away.
Tokyo 2020 is scheduled for July 23 next year.
