A graduation ceremony was held yesterday afternoon for the students of Prep to Step Up.
It is an innovative new post-secondary non-profit educational program for neuro-diverse adults in the Halton region.
The ceremony was held at St. Paul’s United Church on Milton’s Main Street.
Founder Doreen McCall explains why it is important for the students to attend these kinds of programs.
McCall adds that she is very proud of her students and the work they’ve accomplished.
She says their spirits make her job very rewarding.
McCall says that it doesn’t just end at graduation.
The students in the Prep to Step Up program learn valuable life skills.
