You can help raise money and save the lives of disabled dogs.
This weekend is the Puppy and Cupcake Day fundraiser at the Bronte Street Pet Valu location.
A local non-profit has made it their mission to save disabled dogs that are up for euthanasia and raise money for their surgeries.
Founder of Fur-Ever Able Rescue and Rehab, Ashley Andrews, says in the first few months of the organization, they’ve saved six dogs.
Andrews adds that they have to feed the puppies they receive through tubes because they’re only a few days old.
She talks about what it’s like dealing with the young puppies they save.
Andrews says it all began with a little research.
Puppy and Cupcake Day is all weekend long at the Bronte Street Pet Valu location in Milton.
It will run on store hours.
