Parking in Milton may be a little confusing for some residents.
The Town’s by-laws have several regulations and exemptions to help control the roads and properties within the community.
It’s important to note that for most streets, there is a maximum five-hour street parking limit in Milton.
Some registered streets have an increased limit of 15-hours.
There is also no parking from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. throughout the year.
Parking during snowstorms is to be avoided.
The Town of Milton says they will notify residents as best they can during snowstorms to keep the roads clear for plows.
They say to check the Town’s social media, website, and the myMILTON mobile app frequently for updates.
