The Town of Milton has a plan set for the population in the next 30 years.
Currently, they are projected to add 300,000 people within the Halton Region’s one million projection.
However, Regional Councillor for Ward 1, Colin Best, says they will need some help to accommodate growth.
Best adds that the province, currently, hasn’t shown a willingness to help accommodate growth within the Region.
He says that if the Province expects these targets to be met, they need to clarify certain plans.
There was an amendment for the motion to help meet expectations.
There is also a significant amount of expected greenfield expansion within the plan.
