The Town of Milton has hired a new chief administrative officer.
Andrew Siltala will assume the role on January 1st.
Siltala has been the Town’s Acting CAO since June 15th.
He has served Milton for the past 19 years.
He was formerly the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Economic Development in the CAO’s office.
Mayor Gordon Krantz says that Siltala has an, “unparalleled understanding of the community, where we’ve been and where we’re going.”
Adding that, “his passion for collaboration, and his proven ability to make strategic investments for our future are only some of the reasons he’s the right choice to lead the corporation as we move ahead.”
Siltala says he is honoured and privileged to take on the role.
He adds that he looks forward to continuing to work with a staff that, “will make Milton a place of possibility for generations to come.”
