An explosion has been reported in Milton.
Reports say a hydro transformer exploded in the area of Ontario Street and Woodward Avenue – with several hydro poles leaning, wires down and a tree on fire.

Milton Hydro is also reporting that more than 3000 residents are without power as a result of the outage. Reports also include residents stuck in an elevator at an apartment building at 80 Ontario Street.
